The secret to stimulating collagen.
Discover the filler designed to define.
Rejuvenate your profile by improving your cheeks, temples and jowls – either as a standalone procedure or in harmony with other facial fillers. The beauty of Sculptra is that results are gradual, revealing themselves over several sessions; as your body creates new collagen from within.
HOW IT WORKS
The results created by Sculptra are thanks to poly-L-lactic acid, a compound that naturally integrates into the body over time and stimulates the growth of new collagen. Dr. Dempsey will meticulously asses your facial anatomy to determine the right number of injections for your aesthetic goals and as part of your treatment plan.
What are the results like?
Radiesse® results last up to one year, but overtime, your body metabolizes the CaHA – because of this, the effects are completely reversible. Subsequent treatments may be required to achieve your desired effect.
What is Radiesse made of?
Radiesse is made up of synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHa, microspheres suspended in a gel. It is comparable to the calcium found in bones and teeth, as they are very similar in nature. By instantly filling up the target area, the gel is absorbed by the body and leaves behind CaHa. This CaHa stimulates the development of fresh collagen and supports the skin’s deteriorated structure. Over time, these CaHa particles entirely metabolize while new collagen protein takes their place in the skin tissues.
Where can Radiesse be injected?
Radiesse is most commonly injected in the nasolabial folds, to enhance the jawline, and to rejuvenate the hands. Radiesse can also be used to augment the cheek bones.
